Ok, now for the Chinese work sheet.
Basically, it's just simplifying the words or replacing them to make them look shorter. Chen lao shi say the do question 2 onwards before doing question 1.
2) simplify the words into 1
eg. 不是 => 不
一个 => 一
3) Change the name of these ppl or places into something shrot w/o changing the meaning。
eg. 威廉莎士比亚 => 莎士比亚
中华人民共和国 => 中国
4) replace the word without changing the meaning.
eg. 是不是 => 是否
5) take away those redundant words, leaving the main points.
eg. 他很热心地帮助别人=> 他帮助别人
6) substitute in some words, and change the sentence according to the word limit given...
eg. (i still not very sure, when i finish, i com eand update)
7)delete away words or phrases
eg. but there is only 1 question...it's easy luh...
8) delete words or change the words in the sentence, but hte meaning remains the same
9)
eg. 现代是一个知识爆炸的时代。经济发展、科学研究、国防建设、也没有一样不靠知识 =>
现代没有一样不靠知识
10)simplify the sentences
11）compressthe sentence into a SINGLE sentence at the same time must have the original meaning.
12) selectively use the words given to form a sentence without changing the meaning
eg. 思想有好有坏，有正确的，也有错误的，有周密的、深刻的，也有粗糙的、肤浅的。=>
正确的好思想周密，错误的坏思想肤浅。
1)compress the words into the word limit given.
