For geog, the june assignment have been uploaded.

I shall copy and paste the info since my printer doesn't have ink currently so cannot print out and scan ._. In case y'all are lazy to check, can't access etc.

This is a research and reflection exercise on the topic of pollution.

Instructions:
1. Find one online news story about pollution.
(Suggested resource: http://www.onlinenewspapers.com/)

The news story can be from any English-language newspaper, and can be about any form of pollution (air, land, water, noise, etc.) in any part of the world.

The only restrictions are
1) the story must be a full article of at least 300 words, and
2) be recent, written within the past one year.

2. Read the story and write a reflection on it using the See, Think, Wonder format.

See: What do you see? Describe what the story talks about in a brief summary, making sure that you highlight the main points/issues raised in the story.

Think: What do you think about it? Share your opinions about the story. Do you agree or disagree with the writer? How does the news story make you feel?

Wonder: What does it make you wonder about? What questions come to mind after you’ve read the article and thought about the issues raised by it?

Your reflection should be between 200-400 words long and type-written.

3. Print out a copy of the news story and your reflections. Ensure that your name, class and index number are clearly indicated on the front page, along with the assignment title “Year 2 Geography June 2009 Holiday Assignment”.

This assignment will be collected in week 1 of Term 3 during your Geography lesson.
