the movie is called 2012. at vivocity cause the 3D version's available there.
jiawen just watched it and she said it's DAMNDAMN NICE!
SO COMECOME! ^o^

and bring jackets incase you freeze to death.the movie's 2hour plus... =]

prepare at least $10 for the ticket.since it's VIVO and 3D.

So the other day during chalet I was talking to Naihui about having a class outing during the holidays again .. haha (: And I was thinking about maybe some near x'mas outing or just another random day out. Yeah. So before we start planning maybe I wna know how many people are interested in a class outing ^^ So yeah,

Food
it will be on the night of 11th nov. as most of us are able to make it on the day.
so, those who are bring the food, please do so on the 11th. this way, we don't have to eat overnight food, which is better. some of the guys are buying drinks for us. and the list of people bringing in food is as follows: if there is any amendments, pls tag or sms me.

Chantal: fried beehoon
Amanda: Agar Agar
Eve: Sushi (depending on the date)
Jia Hui & Frederica: Canned fruits (in this case, rmb to bring a can opener)
Astrid: Potato Salad/Shepherd's pie or both
Peijia: Brownies (not confirmed, on the 2nd day)

Getting There
actually the resort is only 10 min walk from Pasir Ris MRT. so if you don't plan to wait for half an hour for the shuttle bus, you all can also walk. the timing for the shuttle bus is as follows (in case you want to take the bus instead):

Check-in & Out
Chantal's mum will be checking in for us on that day. The check-in time is 2.30 but according to her, we can check in earlier. The check out time will be 10.30am on the 13th nov.

first, we will clarify about the meeting time.
it's up to you guys if you all wanna meet and go there.
the room number will only be sent to me 2 days before check in. however the check in time is around noon. it will be confimed and posted soon. so if you all wan to meet and go, pls contact richie, or if you wanna go in cliques also ok..

however, i will need a parent to check in cos none of us is above 18 and we will need someone above 18 to take my mum's membership card for checking in. anyone's parents who are sending them there. pls contact me ASAP to settle this. thaks

secondly, about the food. i will be sending an sms regarding this.
1) i need to know who are NOT able to make it on the 11th.
2) as for the dancers, so far all are planning to go after practice except for eve.
so we might have the 'eat tgt' on the 11th if most ppl turns up. or else we will need to eat overnight food (though we have microwave there)
3) we dun have enough ppl bringing food. those who have not sms richie about what you are bringing, do it by SUNDAY.
4) we need volunteers to buy drinks. pls volunteer

as our chalet is on weekdays, Escape will not be opened.
however, Wild Wild Wet will be opened.

hi class. i am aware that many people has no idea when the chalet is. So here are the updates. for now.

Venue: Costasands Resort Downtown East
Dates: 11th, 12th, 13th nov 09
Time: check in time to be confirmed but will be around noon)
Transport: Take MRT to Pasir Ris >> Shuttle bus from MRT
** (bus arrives in every half and hour interval.)

As for the food part. we are trying to find a day where MOST people can turn up so they will not miss out too much of the chalet. hence richie will be collating the food items you guys are bring to chalet and confirming the day the 'eat together' will be held. ASAP. we'll order 2 pizza and buy alotalotalotalot of drinks to last us for the 3D2N.
